Fertilizer Spreaders: 400L SD, 600L DD, 1000L DD, 1500L DD

DESCRIPTION
Fertilizer spreaders in sizes such as 400L (single disc), 600L, 1000L, and 1500L (double disc) are designed for efficient and even distribution of granular fertilizers across a range of farming applications. The hopper capacity determines the volume of material that can be carried, with larger models allowing for longer working intervals and improved productivity in medium to large fields.
Single disc (SD) models, typically in the 400L range, are suited to smaller areas and lighter applications, while double disc (DD) spreaders—such as the 600L, 1000L, and 1500L variants—provide a wider and more uniform spreading pattern, making them more suitable for larger-scale operations. Spreading width varies depending on the model, disc design, and fertilizer type, and is usually adjustable to suit different field conditions.
These spreaders are commonly tractor-mounted and powered via the PTO, which drives the spinning discs responsible for distributing the fertilizer. An internal agitator helps maintain consistent material flow and prevents clogging within the hopper. Application rate and spread pattern can typically be adjusted through manual or mechanical control systems.
Mounted using a three-point linkage, fertilizer spreaders are designed for ease of operation and stability in the field. As with most agricultural equipment, exact specifications and features may vary depending on the manufacturer and configuration.
