The GIANT G904R-TD combines a turbocharged four-cylinder, 3,920 cc Stage II engine with a rated output of 90 hp at 2,400 rpm. The four-wheel-drive tractor features a 16-forward and 16-reverse transmission, a double-action clutch with independent PTO, power steering and oil-immersed brakes.

A 77-litre-per-minute hydraulic pump supplies the open-centre hydraulic system, while the rear linkage offers a rated lift capacity of at least 23 kN. The tractor is fitted with Category 2 linkage, three rear remotes and a mechanical PTO operating at 540/540E or 540/1,000 rpm.
