The GIANT G504R-TE is powered by a naturally aspirated four-cylinder, 2,700 cc Stage II engine producing 50 hp at 2,400 rpm. Its four-wheel-drive system is paired with an 8-forward and 8-reverse transmission, a double-action clutch, power steering and oil-immersed brakes.

The tractor features a mechanical PTO with 540/540E or 540/1,000 rpm settings. Its open-centre hydraulic system provides a pump flow of 38 litres per minute at 2,400 rpm, a rated lift capacity of 26 kN and Category 1 linkage with two rear hydraulic remotes.
